On the 17th June, our Managing Director Mr. Mbemba Jabbi attended the Africa Ireland Economic Forum in Dublin. The forum brought together regional bodies, entrepreneurs, development specialists, companies, diplomats and investors interested in doing business in African countries, but also those in attendance were representatives from many African countries who want African products to access European markets. During the morning session, there was a high profile panel discussion of economic developments and opportunities in Africa. In the afternoon there were three parallel sectoral sessions in the areas of Agri-business, Energy and Clean Tech, and Aviation & Aerospace – areas where Ireland has specialist expertise and Africa has enormous potential. Our managing director attended the Agri-business session where our interest lies as a food exporter from Ireland to The Gambia.
